With a theme of "CollaborAction for the Earth," Langkah Membumi Ecoground 2025 invites all parties to not only talk about ideas but also to work together to create real change.

A comprehensive experience designed in four zones: Eco Motion, which combines sports and wellness to revitalize energy; Eco Market, which introduces sustainable products; Eco Labs, which offers practical workshops; and Eco Stage, which presents talk shows and entertainment. Sirsak's Role as Official Waste Management Partner

As the official waste management partner, Sirsak contributed to ensuring that all waste produced during Langkah Membumi was collected, sorted, and processed responsibly while educating attendees on proper waste sorting. Sirsak also introduced the newest initiative, "Wartabak" (Warung Tarik Balik Kemasan), a mini warung where visitors return clean, sorted packaging to be recycled and diverted in exchange for instant rewards.

During Langkah Membumi, every visitor who returned used packaging at the Wartabak booth received a special keychain made from upcycled packaging waste to symbolize how discarded materials can be transformed into valuable items. This initiative aims to bring waste recovery points closer to consumers and educate the importance of closing the loop.

Wartabak encourages waste separation habits and makes recycling relatable, tangible, and joyful. High-waste-generating locations such as malls, eateries, and public spaces can also provide these initiatives and gain multiple benefits:

Measurable Impact with Sirsak Waste Management Solution

To support Langkah Membumi's sustainability efforts, Sirsak deployed more than 30 waste bins across the venue, categorized into five waste types: organic, multi-layer plastics, paper, recyclables, and residues. The on-ground Sirsak team actively guided visitors to sort their waste correctly, helping them understand what belongs in each category and why proper waste sorting is essential for recycling and recovery.

After the event, Sirsak also tracked and recorded the amount of recyclable waste collected. This data increases transparency in waste management at large public events and helps advance sustainability efforts across the entertainment industry.

Sirsak supported Langkah Membumi to collect a total of 90.15 kilograms of recyclable waste and returned it to the recycling chain. The recovered materials consisted of 4.99% glass, 17.29% metal, 31.72% paper, and 46% plastic.
